[Event Report] We held a miso making event for children!
On April 4th, we held a miso-making event for children.
The event was targeted at local elementary school students, and a total of 10 children from 1st to 5th grade participated on the day.
The students learned a wide range of information about miso, from "What is miso made from?" to "The mysteries of koji" and "The map of miso in Japan," and had the opportunity to experience making miso, starting with crushing soybeans themselves.
We will continue to plan miso-making events as an opportunity to promote Japanese culture to children as well as adults.
