LABO 10th Event Report
The Komedori LABO workshop was held on Monday, June 16, 2025.
Komedori LABO is a fan community that was launched on the occasion of our store's first anniversary to further promote Komedoriming in the second year and beyond.
The members of Komedori LABO are involved in developing seasonal amazake to be offered in store, and come up with ideas for product development, working together with us with the same passion as our store staff.
This is the 10th time we are holding this event, and we will be holding an event called "Making Your Own Condiment Koji."
We invited not only Komedori LABO members but also regular customers of our store, and a total of 16 people participated.
Participants were given the opportunity to experience making their own unique condiment koji using a combination of eight different ingredients: soy sauce, salt, bonito flakes, ginger, green onions, garlic, shiso leaves, and myoga ginger.
Everyone was engrossed in making seasonings with various combinations, imagining the taste they would have when they were finished, and everyone, from children to adults, enjoyed the experience.
There were also conversations between LABO members who had already met several times, making it a very enjoyable and meaningful time.
Komedreaming will continue to work with LABO members to discuss the appeal of koji and fermentation, and spread the appeal of Japan.

The next events will involve making koji seasoning on the evening of July 16th and amazake in the early morning of July 23rd.
